Call answering is easy to use! Your callers can leave messages for you when you are on or away from your phone. You can listen to your messages when it’s convenient for you from any phone at any time. You’ll never have to worry about missing a call again. Call Answering Basic Mailbox $4.00/mo.
- Stores 30 minutes of messages (new or saved)
- Each message can be up to 3 minutes in length
- Messages will automatically delete after 15 days
- Submailboxes are available for $2.00/mo.
The Basics
Your mailbox contains your messages, your personalized greeting, and your password. You can play your messages at your home phone or any other touch tone phone by calling the system access number to reach your mailbox.
If you wish to record your own greeting or if you will be calling in for messages from other phones, you will need to set up a personalized mailbox. Keep record of your call answering access numbers:
- System access number: Local 3-digit prefix + 7500
- Mailbox number: [Your 7-digit phone number]
Accessing Your Mailbox
1. Play your Messages
From home phone
- Dial local 3-digit prefix + 7500.
- Enter your password followed by # (7-digit phone number is default)
From another phone
- Call the system access number from anytouch tone phone. (If you are asked for a password, press * then proceed to step 2.)
- Enter your mailbox number (7-digit phone number) followed by #
- Enter your password followed by # From another phone using your phone number
- Call your own phone number
- Press *
- Enter your password followed by #
Note: You must play your messages from your own phone when accessing your mailbox for the first time.
Reviewing Messages
You can replay, keep, delete, save as new and fast forward, rewind, pause and increase or decrease the volume while playing a message.
- To replay the message, press 1
- To keep the message, press 2
- To delete the message, press 3
- To save it as new, press 4
Note: Before you hang up, you can change a deleted message to a kept message by pressing 2 during the message.
