Privacy Information

Important Customer Notice

The Federal Communications Commission developed new rules in 2007 to protect the privacy of information contained in your telephone account with RT Communications. The new rules allow us to discuss account information only with the person(s) listed on the account. Also, we must be able to verify that the person accessing your account is in fact, an authorized individual; and we will do this by asking for a password. Your chosen password may include at least 4, but no more than 10, characters (numbers and/or letters).

If the account is listed only in your name, you may want to consider adding another name as an “Authorized Account Representative” if appropriate – for example: a spouse or a roommate. The “Authorized Account Representative” does not need to be added to the billing name, but they will be added to our records as a person that you have authorized to make changes or discuss information regarding your account.

Although we have always treated your account information with confidentiality, please help us in our effort to further ensure that we protect this information. To establish your password or for more information concerning this notice, please call (307) 347-7020 or 800-647-9841.
